I've been trying to hide it, there's a monster in my mind going crazy,
running round and smashing anything that it can grab and it's changed me,
oh i'm waiting, hoping that he'll go to sleep.
Every little breath that moves the air inside this room is arranging,
into a great big storm that's gonna boom and break the bones that created,
all that hatred, won't you blow it all away.
The skin is thickening around my hands until i've lost all the feeling,
when everything is numb you better rush you better run for some healing,
there's no reason to, go and give yourself away.
My life consists of lists that I now wish I'ld never written or turned out,
and every days the same I used to take them as they came now I count down,
to a fine line, everything will end in time.
There's a tree out in my field and it was the greenest of the green but it's dead now,
but that don't mean it's gone no there's still life that's living on in it's bark tower,
oh I love how, somethings just won't let it go.
My heart is pounding loud yeah you can hear it in the ground as it shakes me,
with every passing beat it tells me I should move my feet and go change things,
Jon you're wasting your, only opportunity.
